Town Hall
Erected in Sheep Street, 1821. (1)

Town Hall, Silver Street
Town hall consisted of an upper room used for meetings including Petty Sessions, County Court, lectures and concerts and the ground floor which was used by the Relieving Officer on a Wednesday afternoon to hand out bread and money to those 'on the parish'. Was converted into shops in early 20th century. (1)
