Full Description

{1} County High School (Girls), London Road. Grammar school established in 1595. Has both an upper and a lower school. In 1906 the govenors of the school opened a grammar school for girls. Building first shown on map of 1926. Red brick structure of early 20th century date. Still in use as a school (now Wrenn School). Film 16, photo 3-5.
