Full Description

{1} The biggest of the ironstone quarries owned by the corporation of the Sons of the Clergy (records in LMA). The tramway linking it to the canal and furnaces at Nether Heyford is detailed in book by E. Tonks. Now a mature plantation with 3 metre drop off the road.
