Full Description
{1} This part of the former route is now called the Old Road, and heads uphill in a south-east direction from the A45 at the south end of Braunston village. The gradient for horse-drawn traffic is quite daunting. Today's single track remnant is tarmacadam for the first 400 yards, serving some 18th and 19th century cottages, then deteriorates into a farm track.
