Full Description
{1} {2} These buildings provided the water supply for Fermyn Woods Hall. A Ruston Hornsby oil engine powered a line-shaft from which belts drove reciprocating pumps. This plant was in the north-east part of the long single storey stone building with a hipped slate roof. Attached to the north-west side of the pump house is a stone water tower about 13m high, surrounded by a pyramidal slate roof. The pumping plant was removed and the buildings converted to a dwelling about 1995.
