Full Description

{1} Evidence of tramway which carried iron ore from the early 1920s from quarries to the north, down to a junction with the former Midland Railway's Kettering to Huntingdon line. Clear line of route of tramway to south, concrete bridge over stream adjacent to footpath, also route to North Pit with later diversion to Thomson's Pit, being worked until 1958.
