Full Description

{1} Set of steps. c.1905. By Sir Reginald Blomfield for Lord Brassey. Ashlar and coursed rubblestone. Steps have low coursed rubblestone side walls with ashlar coping and ball finials. Stands to the south of the south front arcade of Apethorpe Palace (qv). Forms a significnat group with the house and the other items surrounding it. The gardens at Apethorpe are included in the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade II.
