Full Description

{1} T.C. Welsh describes a possible Iron Age hillfort, traingular, weakly defined south side, other two sides bank and scarp, ditch and counterscarp. Much mutilated by ridge and furrow.

{2} Further fieldwork leads to a description of a triangular Iron-Age fort of about 6ha extenet, with two-thirds of the circuit extant, including a definitive inturned entrance nearly midway on the north east side.
