Full Description

{1} I was out walking in fields along the Bedfordshire/Northamptonshire border when I came across pottery and a piece of dressed stone in a wheat field adjacent to the A6 through which a footpath passes from the A6 to Higham Park. According to the farmer (Chris Holt) the field has been ploughed for arable use for the past couple of years, before this for as long as I can remember it was used for grazing. Some of the pot appears to be Nene Valley ware.
