{3} Stoke Plain farmhouse - erected as part of a model farm for Grafton Estate in 1840. The east wing was last used as a dairy and the list description indicates it was formerly a wash house. The building is currently open to roof, although there are a series of joists indicating that there may have been an additional floor at an earlier stage. There is plaster on the walls and white tiles from the se of the wind as a dairy. There is an entrance at ground floor level through to the main body of the house, but there is no access at first floor level. It is uncertain whether the wind has always been used as an outbuilding of some kindor whether it was formerly the main body of domestic accommodation.
The owners reports that the west wing appears to have been a kitchen and scullery (with drainage in the stone floors) with servants quarters at first floor level.
