Full Description

{1} House, formerly farmhouse. Dated 1655, altered and extended C20. Coursed ironstone rubble, reed thatch roof, stone end stacks. 2-unit plan. 2-storey, 1-window range. Central C20 door with wood lintel and thatched hood on brackets. 2-light casement windows to ground and 1st floors with wood lintels. Stone-coped gables with kneelers. Datestone in right gable end inscribed 1655/AP (rest obliterated). 2-storey extension to rear right with further C20 extension. Interior has spine beams and open fireplace with bressumer. Corner fireplace in 1st floor room with wood lintel.
