Building record 5421/0/3 - No. 30 The Green (The Springs)

{1} Cottage. Late C17, altered C19. Coursed squared ironstone, straw thatch roof, brick end and ridge stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys. C19 part-glazed door to right with wood lintel in C20 porch in angle with projecting wing to front far right. Irregular glazing with 2-light wave-moulded stone mullion window to left of centre with hood mould, otherwise casements with wood lintels. 2-light windows to 1st floor in eyebrow dormers have moulded stone jambs of original stone mullion windows stone-coped gables with kneelers. Interior noted as having chamfered cross beams to main ground floor room which has open fireplace with chamfered bressumers.
