Full Description

{1} House, formerly farmhouse. Mid C18, altered c.1840 and C20. Coursed limestone rubble, limestone dressings, C20 plain-tile roof, blue brick end stacks. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Central 4-panel door with overlight, panelled reveals and pilastered wood surround with dentilled cornice and pediment. 2-light stone mullion cellar window to left. C20 canted bay window to right, otherwise 16-pane sash windows with stone sills and flat-arched heads. Ironstone quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Kitchen wing to rear right. Interior has chamfered spine beams, stone-flagged hall, dog-leg staircase with stick balusters and stone cellar.
