Full Description

{1} House, formerly farmhouse. Early/mid C18. Coursed squared limestone, plain-tile roof, brick ridge and end stacks. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. 4-panel door to right of centre in pegged wood surround, with wood lintel and straight hood on brackets. 3-light casement windows to ground and first floors with wood lintels. Blocked door to left of centre, now part- filled by 2-light casement window with wood lintel. Interior has stop-chamfered spine beams and two open fireplaces with bressumers.

{4} A single farmstead is shown in 1726, with another to the south in Greens Norton parish (Lower Potcote). The same situation existed in 1812, and apart from the rebuilding of the farm on a site to the north-west of the old one, nothing has changed.
