Full Description

{1} Stocks. Probably C19, repaired C20. Planks with leg holes to accommodate two persons flanked by timber posts with iron bracelets.

{9} SP 5556 4535 Well preserved stocks for double male factors; the side markers carry hand gyves, both timber and metalling appear original but the whole has been re-created on a modern paved base. The local name for the area is "Stocks Green" and the probability is that the monument stands on or very near, its original site. See photograph.
