Full Description
{1} Gateway, wall and piers. Early C19. Ironstone ashlar. Gateway has 4-centred arch with entablature surmounted by strapwork, ball finials and coat of arms. Lower flanking sections with inscription plaques and strapwork cresting. Plaques are inscribed "Enter his gates with thanksgiving" and "Come into his courts with praise". Gateway is linked by low stone walls along south side of churchyard to square piers with pyramid shaped finials on ball pedestals. Included for group value.
