Full Description

{1} Bridge. C18. Ironstone ashlar. 2 arches with plain surrounds, those on north divided by a buttress. Parapet and flanking walls have stone coping.

{3} Bridge over River Cherwell; stone-built with 2 semi-arches.

{6} A range of graffiti has been carved into the surviving portions of the parapet coping stones. These include outlines of shoes, names and initials and an example of a combined heart and cross. Many have become faint through weathering and many more may have been lost with the replacement of historic stone. Includes photographs and plans of graffiti.
