Full Description

{1} Cottage. C18, remodelled and enlarged c.1930. Coursed limestone and ironstone rubble. Thatched roof, brick stacks. T-plan. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Doorway in left bay has wood lintel and C20 glazed door. 3-light widow to right with wood lintel, wood mullions and iron casement. Similar window in right bay. C20 French window in second bay from right. 3-light windows on first floor with wood lintels, wood mullions and iron casements. Left bay of this block is said to have been added c.1930 together with cross wing to left (west). (Information from the owner Mr. Blencowe). Interior: Remodelled c.1930 has staircase and fireplaces of this date. Included for group value.
