Full Description

{1} Garden wall. C17/C18. Regular coursed limestone. High wall with coped top. 2 gateways set within the wall, one with 4-centred arch and ribbed door, the other with wood lintel and plank door. The wall is of great importance to the setting of The Manor House (q.v.), the church (q.v.), the market cross (q.v.) and the Old School House, Old Post Office Cottage and The Long House (q.v.).
