Full Description

{1} Cottage. C16 - C17, with early C19 and C20 alterations. Uncoursed limestone rubble (whitewashed) and timber framed; artificial stone tile roof (formerly thatched); brick stacks. 2 storeys and attic; 2 bays. Central doorway with wooden lintel and 4-panelled door flanked by early C19 bay windows with wooden casements, under continuous roof of artificial stone slates. First floor windows are 3-light iron and wood casements with wood lintels. Interior: On first floor, raised cruck construction is exposed and timer framed former rear wall hidden externally by C19 and C20 additions.
