Summary

Barn. C18. Coursed limestone rubble, slate roof. 8 bays. Opposing openings to left of centre, plank doors to left and right ends with timber lintels and ventilation slits. A building recording survey was undertaken in 2019 prior to conversion to a dwelling. By this date the central section of the barn had collapsed.

Full Description

{1} Barn. C18. Coursed limestone rubble, slate roof. 8 bays. Opposing openings to left of centre, plank doors to left and right ends with timber lintels and ventilation slits. Stone-coped gable with kneelers to right. Interior not inspected.

{3} A level II building recording survey was carried out in 2019. The central section of the barn had collapsed some time previously. Internally, the barn comprises two distinct areas, with the eastern six bays open to the roof. The two western bays are separated off with a stone wall, a later insertion as it blocked one of the ventilator slits. Within these two bays, an upper floor had been inserted.
