Summary

1925-6 by P Behrens for W J Basset-Lowke in German Expressionist style. Some internal features from No 78 Derngate as remodelled 1916 by C R Mackintosh. Whitewashed cement rendered 2 storey front with stairs window pointed bay. Crested parapet. Listed as probably first example of this style in England.

Full Description

{1} 1925-6 by P. Behrens for W. J. Basset-Lowke in German Expressionist style. Some internal features from No 78 Derngate as remodelled 1916 by C R Mackintosh. Whitewashed cement rendered 2 storey front with stairs window pointed bay. Crested parapet. Listed as probably first example of this style in England.
