Building record 5081/0/17 - Nos. 13, 14 & 15 Well Yard

Built in the 17th-century. Well House has mullioned windows. Griffin Cottage, once part of the house, has a stone door surround with fluted sides.

{1} Second half of C17. Sandstone, roof temporarily stripped for retiling. 2 storeys, casement windows 2 and 3 light with stone mullions. Doorway moulding. Main room has chamfered stone chimneypiece arch. Nos 13, 14 and 15 Well Yard and Nos 39 (The Cottage), 43 (Home Cottage) and 47 Vicarage Lane form a group.

{3} Well Yard House, with a gable to the road, of two storeys with 17th-century mullioned windows.
