Full Description

{1} Circa 1857 by William Hull. 3 storeys on corner site. Red brick and stone with rusticated strip pilasters to each storey. Entrance at rounded corner with Campbell Square. 2 segmentally arched large windows to east, 3 to north. Welsh slated roof with bracketed cornice. 1 ground floor window altered. Victoria Street Warehouse and Mansfield Warehouse, Newland, form a group

{3} Recorded in 1967, when it was occupied by Horton & Arlidge Ltd, box makers. Erected by Isaac, Campbell & Co, army contractors and shoe manufacturers. A large three-storey building, extending along Victoria Street and with an extension westwards behind and parallel to the façade on Cambpell Square. Mostly brick with slate roof with roof lights. Façade in Cambpell Square is faced with rusticated and carved stone. The original entrance was in the centre bay of this façade. [photo]
