Building record 4072/2/1 - Remains of Windmill

Remains of windmill. A tower mill for cereal milling built early to mid 19th century. It has been converted to a house. It has one storey, of brick, and is circular becoming octagonal below the eaves of the conical pantile roof. During World War II it was used as a Home Guard observation post.

{1} Early to mid C19. Red brick, 1 storey. Plan circular at ground level, octagonal below eaves of conical pantiled roof with weathervane.
