Full Description

{1} 1858-61 by E F Law. Squared rubble dressed with red brick, Welsh slated roofs. Pointed arched casement windows with stone mullions. Irregular plan. 5 window 1 storey range on right with gabled porch. Gabled block on left with tall window. Recessed left central 2 storey linking range with squat tower on left. Careful treatment of materials. Some herringbone pattern stonework. Included for group value. Nos 1 to 8 (consec.) form a group with St Giles' Church and St Giles' Church School.

{4} Very Gothic. It originally had a tall fleche spire but it was reduced in size when the building was refurbished in 1984.
