Summary

House of 17th to 18th century origin but now with a 19th century appearance. Upper walls are of brick with rendered elevations. The building is now of three storeys. Awaiting demolition at time of survey. Building demolished during 1977.

Full Description

{1} C18th, altered. Cement rendered front, Welsh slated roof. 3 storeys with floor bands and quoins. 2 sash windows with glazing bars, 2nd floor window on right now altered to casement. Segmental bow window on right of ground floor. Door surround under hood on console brackets. Nos 33 to 43 (odd) and 37a form a group with St Peter's Church and Nos 1 to 3 Black Lion Hill.

{2} C18th building with cement rendered front; altered; Welsh slate roof; three storeys.

{3} Building demolished during 1977. Building probably dated from the late 17th or early 18th century - contains blocked-up inglenook fireplace and 18th century double hung sash windows. One of the windows salvaged after demolition and donated to Abington Museum.
