Full Description

{1} 1881 by S J Newman. Brick now cement rendered, stone dressings. 3 storeys plus attic in shaped gables, 3 windows in flat bows with carved enrichment to upper storeys above cornice. Ground floor: 2 semi-elliptical arches and heavy pedimented doorway now fronting arcade. Nos 4 to 10 (even) form a group.

{2} 1881 by S.J.Newman; brick with stone dressings; 3 storeys & attic.

{3} Photo dated 1993.

{4} The entrance façade has a shell-hooded doorcase and the Borough shield.

{5} Three bays wide. It was used as offices for brewers P Phipps & Co Ltd.
