Nursing home built in 1865 in Tudor style, with an adjoining glass conservatory in Gothic style. The building is of yellow brick with stone dressings and a Welsh slate roof with 3 gables. Two-storeyed with an attic.

Gothic style conservatory on south side. Included for group value. Beaumont Villa, Sunnyside and Springfield form a group.
