Full Description

{1} Dated 1811. Brick, stone dressings. Welsh slated roof. 2 storeys, plinth, quoins. Ground floor has central door in stone surround under moulded cornice. 2 modern shop fronts. First floor 3 tall sash windows interspersed with 2 small stone niches. Plaque over door. Nos 56 to 60 (even), 60a and 60b form a group.

{2} School built 1811; brick building with stone dressings; 2 storeys with Welsh slate roof; modern shop fronts inserted; plaque over central door;

{3} Between St John's Hospital & George corner is little to call for observation; Corporation Charity School is about as ugly bit of C19th architecture as has been produced; couple of niches for reception of 2 figures of earlier time which belonged to some other building;
