Building record 1160/0/29 - No. 9 Cheyne Walk (Queen's Cottage)

A house built circa 1840 from stone with a Welsh slated roof with the rear facade constructed in brick. The three-bayed house is two storeyed with an attic and has two box dormers in the roof. Beneath this the first floor has three sash windows with later bay windows to the ground floor. There is a shallow central porch with Ionic columns.

{1} Circa 1840. Similar to Prince's Cottage adjacent. Stone, Welsh slated roof with 2 box dormers. 2 storeys and attics, sash windows and later ground floor canted bay window. Shallow porch with Ionic columns. Nos. 6 to 10 (consec) form a group with Eastgate House, Derngate.
