Summary

19th century, three-storey building. Stucco with Welsh-slated roof. Badly damaged in a fire in 2012 and subsequently in 2023 and 2024. Now demolished.

Full Description

{1} C19. Stucco, Welsh slated roof with modillioned cornice. 3 storeys. Rusticated ground floor with round arched windows between pairs of Roman Ionic pilasters. Carriageway left of centre under canted bay window. First and second floors each have 7 sash windows in architrave surrounds. Shop front on far left. Nos 7 to 23 (odd) form a group.

{3} Floor plans produced as part of an application to convert the former inn and hotel to use as a public house and offices. Shaded area on the ground floor plan though to be area set aside for the bar.
