Building record 7198/14/2 - Church of Saint Mary

1893-4 by Gotch & Saunders. Constructed from ironstone in a 14th-century style.

{1} 1893-5 by Gotch and Saunders. Late Gothic style. Ironstone squared coursed rubble and ashlar, tiled roof. Nave, lit by clerestory, windowless narrow aisles, chancel and north and south vestries, west antechapel with baptistry apse, north and south porches, bellcote. Buttresses with offsets.

{3} St Mary's Church, Fuller Street
Church of St Mary a chapel of ease to the parish church. Erected 1894-5. Became an ecclesiastical parish in February 1916.The building is a grade 2* listed building. Film 7, photo 16,17. (1)
