Full Description

{1} Market cross, restored and remodelled as a war memorial, 1921. Limestone. Decorated style. Octagonal base of 2 steps carrying moulded square pedestal with an inscribed bronze tablet on each face. Broached octagonal shaft topped with a square Decorated tabernacle, the 4 ogee niches each containing a symbolic figure.
