Full Description

{1} Cottage. Mid C18 and C19. Coursed limestone and ironstone rubble with thatched roof. Rubble plinth and quoins to C18 part. Central brick ridge stack. 1 1/2 storeys, 3 bays, baffle entry plan. Ground floor openings have wooden lintels. South side has 2 close boarded doors with beaded jambs, flanked by single 3-light casements. Beyond, to left, concrete-tiled addition with C20 casements. Above, a central 3-light iron framed leaded casement in an eyebrow dormer. Street side has a small near-central casement flanked by single C19 and C20 3-light casements. Above, dormer and casement similar to south side. West gable has a single storey addition with a C20 casement and above, a similar casement.
