Full Description

{1} House and hairdressing salon, formerly Post Office. Late C18, raised and reroofed mid C19. Coursed and squared ironstone with Welsh slate and C20 interlocking tile roofs. Plinth, 2 brick gable and single rendered ridge stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays plus single bay service end. T-plan. Main block has a central 6-panelled door with overlight, flanked to left by a C19 glazing bar shop window and beyond, a C20 half-glazed door with overlight. To the right, an 8/8 sash. Above, 3 similar sashes. The service end, to right, has an 8/8 sash on each floor. All openings except the shop window have keystoned flat arches.
