Full Description

{1} House and pair of cottages, now one dwelling. House: early C19th appearance but heightening of front wall reveals earlier origin. Coursed limestone rubble with slate roof and brick end stacks. 2 storeys, 2-window range. Central 6-panel door with panelled reveals and hood. 6/6 sash windows with wooden lintels. Cottages: C18th. Coursed ironstone rubble with C20 concrete tile roof. 2 storeys. Single-fronted handed pair of cottages, with doors to outside, though the door to the right-hand cottage has been replaced by a 2-light small-paned casement window, similar to the original ones which are however distinguished by H-L hinges. Wooden lintels. Left-hand cottage door C20. Alley door to right of plain boards. Interiors not inspected.
