Full Description

{1} House, formerly incorporating shop. Probably C17th origin, altered. Coursed limestone rubble (with a scattering of ironstone), ashlar dressings, heightened in brick. Slate roof (originally thatched) with coped gable, brick ridge stack and moulded stone end stack. Gable end to street. 2 storeys. Quoins. Gable end has 3-light C20 small-paned window (replacing former, slightly wider, shop window) with gauged stone head. Similar 2-light window above. G.R. post box in wall. Right flank has C20 door and windows, and some blocked openings, with wooden lintels. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
