Full Description
{1} Statue group. Stone. C17. Representing Hercules and Cacus on tall pedestal with plinth cornive, moulded panels and semi-circular ends decorated with swags. Probably originally sited at Boughton House, Weekley, C.P. (q.v.) and brought here in C19.
{3} In garden by pond are 2 statues from Boughton (Aeneas & Anchises; Hercules & Cacus) attributed to Andreas Kearne; Booth family agents at Boughton in C18th & C19th;
