C18. 3 storeys in stone with modern roof with verges and 2 brick stacks. 3 windows on top floor, 2 on 1st, hung sashes with glazing bars. 2 plain C19 shop fronts on ground floor. Modern door to No 38, door of 6 panels to No 40. All the listed buildings on the east side of North Street form a group
