Full Description
{1} Formerly the Rectory. Later C17 and 1845 by Donthorne. A high 2-storey house with steep stone slate roof. Original front to south with 3 gabled dormers, 2 tall stone chimney stacks, coved eaves. 4 windows to 1st floor and a lunette between the 2 outer windows at both ends. Late sash windows and labels, the latter particularly in keeping with the large late extension. C19 front elevation has a porch of 2 storeys with crenellated parapet and 1 window. In spite, however, of the later work the impor ant character of th older part is still dominant. All the listed buildings on the west side of North Street form a group.
