Full Description

{1} Statue. Probably C19. Reconstituted limestone. Male figure on plinth, with rams head decoration. Formerly part of landscape layout to Blatherwycke Hall which was demolished in 1948.

{3} Further up the slope was a statue, in the middle of a field. This was a copy of the Apollo Belvedere (the original being in the Vatican Museum) and used to stand in the gardens of the hall.

{4} Bases of two possible C19th stone statues were recorded during fieldwork (the other is at SP9763995661). (Report suggests that by this time only the plinth survives.)

{5} Undated photo;
