Building record 2790/0/20 - Sunny Bank, Oundle Road

An 18th century house altered during the 19th century and used as multiple dwellings.

{1} House. Probably mid C18 and C19. Squared coursed limestone and ironstone with Collyweston-slate roof. Originally 2-unit plan. Single storey with attic. 2-window range of casements under wood lintels. Central 4-panel door is also under wood lintel. Brick stacks at ends. Single-unit brick extension to right. Interior not inspected. Used as 2/3 dwellings during C19.

{3} Sunnybank, one storey and attics, walls of rubble with some freestone, formed from the north two of three 19th century one-room cottages. The Enclosure Map of 1778 shows buildings on the site and the present house may be partly 18th century
