Summary

A fire engine house built in 1813 that has since been converted into a garage. The building is constructed of squared coursed limestone with a double pitch Collyweston slate roof and weatherboarded gables above plank cart doors. An inscription on the road elevation states: Erected by public subscription 1813.

Full Description

{1} Fire engine house, now garage. Datestone 1813. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roof. Rectangular plan. Single storey. Plank doors in gable end have weatherboarded gable above. Elevation to left has plaque with inscription, "Erected by public subscription 1813". Interior not inspected.
