Summary

A late 17th century house situated on the southern side of Bridge Street. The house is constructed of squared coursed limestone and brick with a double pitch Welsh slate roof and ashlar end chimney stacks and gable parapets. The street front has a two window range of leaded casements beneath the eaves and two light stone mullioned windows to the ground floor. The building was extended in the 20th century.

Full Description

{1} House. Late C17 and C20. Squared coursed limestone and brick with Welsh slate roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys. 2-window range of leaded casements at first floor, under eaves, and 2-light, ovolo-moulded stone mullion, windows at ground floor. Ashlar gable parapets and ashlar end stacks, one has moulded cornice. C20 flat-roofed brick extension to left. Right gable has small window, with stone surround, to first floor. Entrance to rear has stone surround. Small C20-extension to rear. Interior not inspected.
