Summary

An early to mid 19th century house located on the northern side of West Street. The building is constructed of squared coursed limestone and ashlar with a double pitch Welsh slate roof with ashlar gable chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high with a raised band between the floors and has a three window range of 12 paned sash windows to the first floor. The ground floor has a 12 paned sash to the left and two doors with rectangular fanlights and ashlar surrounds to the right. The first floor centre window has been blocked and a false casement window painted over the infill.

Full Description

House. Early C19. Squared coursed limestone with ashlar facade and gable and Welsh slate roof. 2-unit terrace plan, with entry to rear attached to right. 2 storeys. 3-window range at first floor of 8-paned unhorned, sash windows under gauged stone heads with keyblocks. First floor centre window is blind with painted glazing bar pattern. Central 4-panel door, with rectangular fanlight, and stone lintel with keyblock. C20 plank door, to entry to right, has similar surround. Stone stacks at ends. Interior not inspected but staircase noted as rising between walls. Included for group value.
