Summary

An early 19th century house located on the southern side of West Street. The building is an L plan in shape and is constructed from squared coursed limestone with a Collyweston slate roof with ashlar end stacks. The street front is two stories high with a three window range of sash windows with key blocks and ashlar surrounds. A central door has a rectangular fanlight with diamond pattern glazing bars.

Full Description

{1} House. Early C19. Squared coursed limestone with ashlar dressings and Collyweston slate roof. L-shape plan. 2 storeys. 3-window range. Central, 6-panel door has rectangular fanlight with diamond pattern glazing bars, under stone lintel with keyblocks. 8-paned, unhorned, sash windows, under stone lintels with keyblocks and with ashlar surrounds. Moulded ashlar cornice and ashlar gable parapets. Ashlar stacks at ends. Interior not inspected but noted as having early C19 fittings.
