Summary

This site includes a late 18th or early 19th century house that is located on the southern side of the High Street. The building is constructed of squared coursed limestone with a double pitch Collyweston slate roof with a stone chimney stack at the left gable. The building is single storied with an attic range lit by gabled eaves dormers that have been half blocked. The street facade has two casement windows under wooden lintels flanking a central door.

Full Description

{1} House. Late C18/early C19. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roof. 2-unit plan. Single storey with attic. 2-window range of C20 casements, in original openings, under wood lintels. 2 gabled eaves dormers to attic have casements with glazing bars. Central C20 part-glazed door is also under wood lintel. Stone stack at end. Similar range attached to rear was a separate dwelling. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
