Summary
A house that was probably built during the late 17th to early 18th century is situated on the western side of Church Street. The house is constructed of squared coursed limestone and ashlar with a double pitch Collyweston slate roof with an ashlar chimney stack on the right with a stone chimney stack to the left. It is of two stories with an attic range lit by two gabled dormer windows. The main facade has a range of two and three light stone mulloned windows to the first floor with casements on the ground floor. At the rear is a 20th century flat roofed extension.

Full Description
{1} House. Probably late C17/early C18. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic, 2-window range of casement windows, with glazing bars, under wood lintels, to ground floor. 3-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion window to first floor right and 2-light stone mullion window, with chamfered mullions, to first left. Both mullion windows have leaded-lights with some crown glass and hood moulds. Central, C19, part-glazed door under wood lintel. Pair of gabled roof dormers with casement windows. Ashlar stack to right and stone stack to left. Lincolnshire dormer to rear also C20 flat roof extension. Interior not inspected but noted as having C18 corner cupboard in the hall and probably remains of open fireplace.
