Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking of 1959/60 by Hollowell. Romano-British pot sherds, kiln debris (baked clay with grass impressions) and a large quantity of limestone rubble found in a drainage trench at SP793592, near The Cherry Tree Inn.

{2} Roman pottery, kiln debris and much limestone rubble found at SP793592.

{3} Roman pottery, kiln debris and much limestone rubble have been discovered at c.SP793592.

{6} SP 792 591. At Cherry Tree, much limestone, pottery and kiln waste found.
